Crystal Cruises

Crystal Cruises operates two ships, the Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony; and these travel the world throughout the year on voyages that range from 7 nights to 22 nights, plus the 110 night world cruise on Crystal Serenity.

Our destinations include plenty of voyages in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, plus South America, Panama Canal, Australasia, New England and Canada, Hawaii, and in 2011 Alaska.

Crystal Cruises have taken two mid-size ships, expanded the range of facilities and public spaces, stripped out a number of cabins, including all inside staterooms so that Crystal are able to offer guests a range of activities and entertainment that you would not normally associate with ultra-luxury cruising, whilst ensuring that guests have a real feeling of space, with one of the best space to guest ratios in the whole cruise industry.

This particularly appeals to guests who want the ultra-luxury service and quality that they would expect from a luxury holiday; plus, because the ships are mid-size, Crystal excels in offering fantastic choice onboard and plenty of space to roam, relax and enjoy the experience.

The choice onboard is second to none, and this really makes Crystal stand out from other ultra-luxury lines. There are seven dining options available in the evening, eight entertainment venues, with a choice that includes intimate cocktail bars, a spacious cinema and lavish west-end style theatre productions that premiere in the Galaxy Lounge.

Crystal has the only Feng Shui-inspired spa at sea; there are technology concierges onboard, a computer university, plus a magnificent shopping arcade, a casino and some of the best fitness equipment available.

Crystal operates a comprehensive and complimentary enrichment programme covering all aspects of mind, body and soul; it offers some incredible themed cruises; and a successful shore programme - Crystal Adventures.

This is real cruising choice and something rarely seen in the ultra-luxury sector; and it is backed with the quality and service that guests would expect from such a cruise line.

Evening entertainment is a vital ingredient on any holiday - whether guests would like to linger over dinner, watch the world go by on the veranda of their stateroom, take in a show, mix and mingle with friends, dance the night away in a club, try their luck in the casino or make new friends over a glass of champagne.

Crystal Cruises offers one of the best selections of entertainment venues in the ultra-luxury sector.

For something different, the purpose built ultra-spacious surround-sound cinema gives guests a selection of the hottest movies available.

The Starlight Club on Crystal Symphony and the Stardust Club on Crystal Serenity have incredible sweeping sea views and offer cocktails and dancing, whilst the Connoisseur Club offers sophistication, and the chance to enjoy a cigar and cognac. The Avenue Saloon is a great place to enjoy a drink and mingle with friends, whilst the Crystal Cove is great for relaxing and people watching.

Lavish Broadway style shows are available for a top night of entertainment in the Galaxy Lounge; or guests can take their chances in the Crystal Casino, boasting a number of card tables and slot machines.

For those who want even more night-time excitement, we have the nightclubs Pulse (on Crystal Serenity) and Luxe (on Crystal Symphony).

Crystal Cruises operates one of the most comprehensive daytime enrichment programmes at sea - backed with the quality and service that you would expect from an ultra-luxury cruise line.

Does your customer dream of playing the piano? Could their choice of wine improve with coaching from the Society of Wine Educators? Are they a budding great designer? The Crystal Cruises Creative Learning Institute brings out the best in guests by providing the best instruction available at sea. In addition all Creative Learning Institute courses are included in the cruise price.

The Institute expands upon Crystal's commitment to enrich mind, body and spirit by extending new opportunities for personal growth. We offer expert instruction from our partners who include Yamaha, Berlitz, Tai Chi Cultural Center, The Cleveland Clinic and The Society of Wine Educators. Many of our enrichment classes are held in the Computer University @ Sea and The Studio; and new for 2010 are our Technology Concierges that are onboard to train and educate guests on the latest gadgets - from iPod's to Blackberry's and iPhones to GPS devices.

Our range of courses include acting workshops, fashion design, foreign language instruction, music, writing, entrepreneurship, candle making, Feng Shui, alternative medicine, dance, sushi and cocktail making.

Whilst many will relish the prospect of enriching their mind, body and soul in this way, others will enjoy simple guest lectures covering a range of topics, professional ballroom dancing instruction, or the more leisurely Bridge classes in our dedicated lounges.

To further enhance the enrichment available onboard, Crystal Cruises operates a number of themed cruising throughout the year, which in 2010 includes Emerging Artists, Film and Theatre Festival, Golf, Jazz, Wine & Food, and Mind, Body & Spirit.

It is worth remembering that all of the daytime activities onboard, with the exception of one-on-one tuition, are already included in the cruise price; and of course guests can include as many of the activities, or as few, as they wish.

We shouldn't ignore the needs of younger passengers too. Crystal Cruises is well placed for looking after children - we have a great promotion for families under our Family Memories Programme for example - and kids are very well catered for in the clubs Waves and Fantasia.

Being an ultra-luxury line, you would expect the standard of staterooms to be exceptional; and at Crystal you will not be disappointed. 100% Egyptian cotton bath towels, fine luxury linens, kimonos, frette bathrobes, personal slippers, a menu of pillow options and twice daily housekeeping are standard.

The luxurious duvets and feather mattress toppers ensure a good nights sleep, whilst the remote colour TV's, DVD and CD players, WiFi internet access and complimentary 24-hours in-room dining ensure that guests are entertained whilst relaxing in comfort.

In penthouses Crystal offers a personal butler service, unpacking and repacking on request, complimentary wine, beer and spirits, and afternoon tea and evening hors doeuvres. Plus guests get the option of 'order in' from the speciality restaurants and even optional in-suite massage from the Crystal Spa.

The private car transfers for Crystal Penthouse guests round off a fantastic package of benefits.  All of our Penthouse grades offer those extra special touches, and such is their popularity that eight new penthouses have recently been added to Crystal Serenity.
